William Kaven Architecture

The architect organized this single family residence around a formal courtyard. Each space throughout the home is transfixed on the lush ferns and grasses that populate the central courtyard. Inhabitants and visitors inevitably gravitate towards the angular concrete fire-pit, which serves as both the visual and visceral core of the residence.
